Way back on September 24th we went camping in the mountains near Heber. We went with a group of Sweet Lew's friends to do a service project. It was for National Public Lands Day. We slept in the tent atop Lew's truck. It was freezing cold. But it was a lot of fun because the leaves had not changed in the valley, but they had in the mountains. Beautiful!
This is the little homeless girl we found. We fed her hot chocolate and donuts. She cheered up a bit after that.
She shared with this guy. He was already happy. Donuts just made him sweeter.

We built onto a fence that was there to stop cattle from getting into the water supply. We did a little exploring and geo caching. It was a fun -last camping trip of the season.
Oh, and this is Jada. She is a really calm and gentle german shepherd. We have been camping with her a few times. I like her a lot.
